SOBER DOGGO
PADDLE DAY
Paddle with your pup at Chatfield Reservoir, soak up Colorado sunshine, and make the kind of sober summer memory you’ll talk about all year!
OVERVIEW
We’re bringing the sober community to one of the most popular paddle boarding destinations near Denver: Chatfield Reservoir in Littleton, Colorado — and yes, your dog is invited!
This is a substance-free, dog-friendly paddle board meetup designed for people who want movement, connection, and Colorado sunshine without the bar scene. Chatfield’s wide-open water, calm morning conditions, and stunning Front Range views make it one of the best spots for stand-up paddle boarding in Colorado — especially for beginners and pups learning to balance on the board.
After a quick dog-safe paddle orientation and water safety walkthrough, we’ll glide together as a group, regroup often, and build community on and off the water. Think tail wags, lake views, and the kind of easy laughter that happens when you mix dogs, sunshine, and a sober crew.
No breweries. No bar scene. Just dogs, paddle boards, and a sober crew on one of the best lakes near Denver.

At Sober Outdoors, we believe access to community and the outdoors should never be limited by financial barriers. Our scholarship program exists to ensure that anyone who wants to attend an event can do so, regardless of current financial circumstances.
Scholarships help cover event fees, premium experiences, and in some cases gear support. These funds are made possible by community donations and partners who believe in expanding access to substance-free spaces.

If you are in a position to give, your donation directly supports someone else's access to recovery-forward community and outdoor experiences. When you contribute, you are helping build a more inclusive sober ecosystem.
Access matters. Community should not be a luxury.
