The scholarship is open to all individuals actively pursuing sobriety, maintaining sobriety, or seeking support in their recovery journey.
Applicants must complete all sections of the scholarship application and provide truthful, accurate information.
2. Use of Scholarship Funds
Scholarships awarded through Sober Outdoors are intended to cover costs associated with:

Other services or expenses approved by Sober Outdoors based on the applicant's stated need
Scholarship funds are non-transferable and must be used only for their intended purpose. Misuse of scholarship funds may result in disqualification from the program and repayment of funds.
3. Duration and Terms of Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded as one-time support unless otherwise specified.
Each recipient may apply for future scholarship opportunities, but prior receipt of a scholarship does not guarantee future awards.
Scholarships must be used within the timeframe specified by Sober Outdoors. Any unused funds or opportunities will expire unless a formal extension is granted.
4. Privacy and Confidentiality
Sober Outdoors will treat all applicant information as confidential and will only use the information provided for the purposes of scholarship assessment and program administration.
Sober Outdoors will not share any personal information, application details, or financial status without the applicant’s explicit consent.
5. Feedback and Follow-Up
Scholarship recipients agree to provide feedback on their experience if requested, as part of our commitment to improving the scholarship program.
Recipients may be asked to complete a short survey or provide testimonials on how the scholarship contributed to their journey. Participation in feedback is encouraged but not mandatory.
6. Volunteer and Community Involvement
While volunteer participation is not required, scholarship recipients are encouraged to support Sober Outdoors’ mission by engaging in community events or volunteer activities where possible.
Volunteering can include participation in events, support with organization tasks, or contributing skills and expertise to further the community's goals.
7. Photo and Media Consent
Sober Outdoors may request permission to use photos or testimonials from scholarship recipients in program-related media, including social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
Media consent is strictly voluntary, and recipients can opt out without any impact on their scholarship status.
8. Code of Conduct
Scholarship recipients must adhere to Sober Outdoors' community guidelines and uphold respectful, positive behavior in all Sober Outdoors activities.
Substance use of any kind is prohibited at Sober Outdoors events, and any violation may lead to dismissal from the event and/or revocation of scholarship benefits.
Any behavior that disrupts the event or threatens the safety, wellbeing, or enjoyment of others may result in immediate dismissal and potential loss of scholarship benefits.
