WATERTON CANYON FALL GRAVEL RIDE
We are kicking off our fall season with a mellow group bike ride up Waterton Canyon, one of the friendliest rides near Denver! This is a wide, hard packed gravel road that follows the South Platte River into a dramatic canyon, with almost no cars and a real chance of spotting bighorn sheep along the way! The grade is gentle and you pick your own turnaround, so newcomers can absolutely roll this. Fall is prime riding weather, and this canyon in September is a beautiful place to start our season together!

McClellan Mountain 4x4 Tour + Lunch
We’re heading to Georgetown for a substance free mountain day built around a scenic 4x4 tour on the McClellan Mountain route, plus a shared lunch stop with huge Continental Divide views. This is the kind of Colorado day that feels wild, grounded, and memorable in all the right ways: historic mining terrain, high alpine scenery, real conversation, and zero pressure to drink. Expect a community centered pace, regular regroup points, and route flexibility if conditions call for it. Come as you are!
Platte River Revive with Sober Outdoors (& Pizza)!
We’re heading to the South Platte River to pick up trash, give back to Denver, and do something that actually matters with our Saturday morning. Starting at Confluence Park right behind the REI flagship, we’ll walk the riverbank north as a crew with bags and grabbers in hand, cleaning up one of Denver’s most loved urban corridors. Then we celebrate the right way: free pizza and icy cold NA beverages at Sliceworks LoDo, all on us! This is what Sober Outdoors is about. Community. Purpose. Fun. Zero hangovers.
Heil Valley Ranch Mindfulness Hike!
This is more than a hike — it’s a guided outdoor mindfulness experience built specifically for the recovery community.
Set in the rolling foothills of Boulder County, this therapist-led event blends nature, movement, and intentional reflection to create a space for clarity, grounding, and growth!
