Sand Dunes Serenity:

2025 Camping Trip

Where Recovery Meets the Dunes!

Ready to reconnect in recovery?

Leave the noise of daily life behind and join us for a long weekend at one of Colorado’s most awe-inspiring landscapes.

From August 17–19, we’ll camp beneath the star-filled skies of Great Sand Dunes National Park, surrounded by rolling dunes, alpine peaks, and the quiet strength of community.

This collaborative event, presented by Harmony Foundation and Sober Outdoors, is open to all in recovery—not just Harmony alumni. Whether you’re new to the journey or decades in, you’ll find a place here to breathe, laugh, and belong.

Trip Highlights

  • 3 Days / 2 Nights of camping in the park

  • Group hikes into the dunes and along Medano Creek

  • Evening campfires, gratitude circles, and open conversations

  • Stargazing in one of the darkest night skies in the U.S.

  • Connection with a recovery community that truly gets it

Carpooling – Share the Ride, Share the Journey

We know getting to the dunes can be a haul.

That’s why we’re coordinating carpool options for this trip. If you need a ride — or have extra seats to offer — just indicate this during registration. We’ll do our very best to pair riders and drivers based on location, timing, and availability. While we can’t guarantee a perfect match for everyone, we’ll work hard to make it happen so more people can enjoy the weekend together.

If you need a ride, please add the carpooling option at registration.
