We're heading to Crested Butte for one of the most iconic mellow laps on the Western Slope. The Lupine Loop rolls right out of town through sagebrush meadows, wildflower fields, and aspen groves with stunning views of the Slate River Valley and Mount Crested Butte. This is a self-guided group ride organized through our partnership with Clear Lines and CB State of Mind. No labels, no recovery identity required. Just a great trail, good people, and zero bar tab at the tailgate. Come as you are!
McClellan Mountain 4x4 Tour + Lunch
We’re heading to Georgetown for a substance free mountain day built around a scenic 4x4 tour on the McClellan Mountain route, plus a shared lunch stop with huge Continental Divide views. This is the kind of Colorado day that feels wild, grounded, and memorable in all the right ways: historic mining terrain, high alpine scenery, real conversation, and zero pressure to drink. Expect a community centered pace, regular regroup points, and route flexibility if conditions call for it. Come as you are!
Platte River Revive with Sober Outdoors (& Pizza)!
We’re heading to the South Platte River to pick up trash, give back to Denver, and do something that actually matters with our Saturday morning. Starting at Confluence Park right behind the REI flagship, we’ll walk the riverbank north as a crew with bags and grabbers in hand, cleaning up one of Denver’s most loved urban corridors. Then we celebrate the right way: free pizza and icy cold NA beverages at Sliceworks LoDo, all on us! This is what Sober Outdoors is about. Community. Purpose. Fun. Zero hangovers.
Sober Doggo Paddle Day with Sober Outdoors!
We’re bringing the sober community to one of the most popular paddle boarding destinations near Denver: Chatfield Reservoir in Littleton, Colorado — and yes, your dog is invited!
This is a substance-free, dog-friendly paddle board meetup designed for people who want movement, connection, and Colorado sunshine without the bar scene. Chatfield’s wide-open water, calm morning conditions, and stunning Front Range views make it one of the best spots for stand-up paddle boarding in Colorado — especially for beginners and pups learning to balance on the board.
After a quick dog-safe paddle orientation and water safety walkthrough, we’ll glide together as a group, regroup often, and build community on and off the water. Think tail wags, lake views, and the kind of easy laughter that happens when you mix dogs, sunshine, and a sober crew.
